They read the room exactly right and played things people wanted to hear throughout the evening. We've had so many comments about how great the band were, they really made the night and we had so much fun! For anyone looking for a pop punk vibe with great energy (which exceeded expectations from the preview vids!) we’d highly recommend. We didn’t manage to catch them at any length at the end, but hope they enjoyed themselves.”

“Our experience of using Tailored Entertainment and hiring Freshman Year as our band for our wedding was brilliant, very straight forward and easily accommodated. There were no issues with making changes and all queries were responded to in a timely manner. Terms were set out clearly and costs were also clear. The set itself was great with a good choice of songs that got our guests up and dancing along. We also loved that Freshman Year were able to adapt our first dance song to be acoustic even though that version doesn't exist so it was a nice touch. We didn't get to spend too much time with the band but the interaction we had was friendly and we'd definitely hire them again for an event in the future.”

They killed it from the first dance special request (this could not have been more perfect) and all night the music was completely spot on what we wanted. “The band were absolutely fantastic. They were punctual, professional, and adapted to requirements of the venue that we had. They also just seemed like genuinely nice guys - really easy-going and friendly. Their cover of our first dance was beautiful and we had so many friends say that the set list made them feel that they had been transported back to their early teen years. I really appreciated that the band got a little moshpit going. The next morning I had no voice left because I had been screaming along to Rage Against the Machine and Nirvana… I would highly recommend this band to anyone who is still a little emo, pop-punk rocker at heart. If you think that the bland, repetitive line-up of Mumford & Sons / Ed Sheehan / John Legend at weddings is about as appealing as a wet sock, then Freshman Year might be right band for you. Any kind of sentimental crooning would’ve made me feel like I was an actor in a low budget rom-com, but headbanging to Blink 182 made me feel like myself on my wedding day. Thanks for giving us the soundtrack that allowed us to completely let go and lose ourselves in the moment - we had so much fun! Please pass along my gratitude to the guys!”
