With Valentines Day just around the corner, we here at Tailored Towers are banishing the January blues and getting around to feeling all romantic.
After reading a recent article on the wonderful Wedding Ideas website about how almost a third of women dream of a Valentines Day proposal, we thought we'd lend a little helping hand to all those thinking about popping the question this year! What with us being the country's premium supplier of UK wedding entertainment, we've picked up an idea or two along the way. Here's a collection of some of the best we've come across…
An Unlikely Setting
Lennon is one of our incredible solo artists, and he told us about one wedding proposal that really caught our attention. He provided the wedding entertainment in Wiltshire to a couple who had popped the question in the incredible planetarium at We The Curious Science Centre in Bristol! We love the idea of taking your loved one completely by surprise like this.
The Treasure Hunt
This was a cool idea shared with us by one of our awesome Surrey wedding bands, City Lights. Plan out a romantic treasure hunt that leads your partner through a series of clues and locations that are special to you both. It'll make for an incredible surprise when you're partner finds a ring at the end of it!
A Surprise Trip Away!
Mulder & Co. are a festival style wedding band based in the North West, and they told us of one Liverpool couple who turned their proposal into a surprise foreign affair. The lucky lady's partner secretly organised a trip to Rome, booking the flights and hotel, packing her bag, he even secretly organised time off with her boss! As soon as they were out there, he popped the question under the shadow of the Colosseum. Perfect!
Say it in a Flashmob
We thought we'd save the grandest for last. This one isn't for the faint hearted, but boy does it pack a hell of a wow factor! Check out this video of a guy who made his girlfriend's daily commute on the tube completely unforgettable. If you've got the guts to do something as epic as this, be sure to send us the video afterwards!
