Tailored Recommends - Shropshire Petals
So you've hired your wedding band, the venue is booked, said yes to the dress... the seemingly never-ending wedding list is slowly getting ticked off, but one thing that often gets left till the last minute (or sometimes even forgotten!) is the confetti.
Confetti is a must on your wedding day – what better way to celebrate after you’ve said your ‘I do’s”! Your confetti moment is fun and the photo of that special moment is guaranteed to be one of your favourites from your big day. So, why not make displaying your confetti fun too?
Here at Tailored Entertainment HQ, we absolutely LOVE Shropshire Petals. These guys have won a host of awards, produce absolutely gorgeous confetti and best of all, it's all totally biodegradeable, natural petal confetti, lovingly handpicked from their Shropshire Farm. What more could you ask for?
So we asked the lovely people over at Shropshire Petals to give us some advice about 5 fun ways to display your confetti, and this is what they said...
1. SPELL IT OUT
Making words out of confetti is great way in which to display it. Delegate one of the ushers to spell out ‘love’, ‘Mr & Mrs’, your names or even a cheeky message to your guests from your chosen confetti on a table outside your ceremony. Just make sure it isn’t left in a windy spot!
2. CONFETTI CONES
Provide your guests with confetti cones for your confetti moment. Each guest can easily take a cone and throw it high above you when you walk by. Cones can be placed in a variety of containers, such as baskets, wooden crates, vases and Shropshire Boxes. Mix and match your confetti cones to complement your wedding theme.
3. VINTAGE SUITCASES
Vintage style weddings are big this season. Why not display your confetti in a vintage suitcase. Place yours where you will be having your confetti thrown for guests to easily take a handful or two to shower you with.
4. PAILS
How cute would your younger bridesmaids and pageboys look holding a small bucket filled with your chosen confetti! Make them feel important by giving them the job of offering confetti to your guests – they will have fun handing it out. You could even order a little extra for them to have some fun with after your confetti moment whilst photographs are being taken.
5. CONFETTI POPS
Confetti Pops are an exciting way for guests to shower you with confetti. Each guest gets a Confetti Pop and with a push, out explodes your confetti. Place your Confetti Pops into a container of your choice and make a sign asking guests to take one as they leave your wedding ceremony. Special offer – Get a 5 litre bag of delphinium and wildflower petals for only £55 online.
