“We hired Festival Sons and they were incredible! The sound engineer, Ian, came and set up earlier in the day meaning this wasn't done during our wedding, he was very professional and worked hard to suit our ideas and wishes. He helped organise me, by letting me know when the band were ready and when we could do our first dance (I didn't have a clue!). The band sounded amazing and so many of our guests commented on the awesome atmosphere they created. They were very flexible, trying a song they didn't really know for my friends from New Zealand to sing with them, and it sounded as if they had rehearsed it knew it very well. We can't explain how good they sounded and how the selection of music suited us. We'd like to say a huge thank you to festival sons!”

“We had an amazing night thank you! Nick and Lianne we’re brilliant, picking them was one of the best decisions made for our wedding, they became a real focal point and set list was perfect. Loved the very relaxed style they started with while our guests arrived then how the more upbeat songs after the first dance got everyone up and dancing . Countless people commented on how good they we’re and what an amazing singer Lianne was. So easy and friendly to deal with didn’t have to worry about a thing. Loved having them play our first dance song just seemed to make it that more intimate and special. Please say a big thank you to nick and Leanne from me and Amanda. Only thing was our 2 yr old little boy stole the show and didn’t stop dancing all evening, the best moment when he they played an amazing version of The Proclaimers ‘I’m gonna be’ and he was stomping and literally had every woman in the place on the dance floor cooing all over him.”

“We wanted to say a giant thank you to Alive. I was wary of booking a band based only on a video but they were even better live. Seems like wedding bands have changed - these lads were so cool our guests thought we'd hired them on some kind of exclusive deal. Their sound and energy made the atmosphere electric and everyone was dancing all night! They were stuck in traffic for hours but were in a good mood all night and they learnt our (little known) first dance tune , including audience participation, based on a you tube video. Seemed like a big ask, but they did it anyway and it sounded great. For anyone looking I would say whatever your budget, the music is make or break so scrimp on the shoes, ditch the favours, do DIY everything, whatever it takes...but book the band! Hand on heart our wedding would not have been the same without them. Please pass on our feedback and sincere thanks for their trek down to Devon and making our night.”

“I wanted to write testimonial for Ollie (sorry its a little late) Booking Ollie was by far one of the best things i did. He was our favourite little detail of the whole day. The music was just beautiful and accompanied our venue perfectly. Everyone commented on how subtle and beautiful it was while we were eating. Ollie was so polite and lovely, I couldn't help but give him a huge hug when he was packing up to leave. I was sad when the music stopped. I managed to take a moment to look around during the meal and take it all in, having that stunning music as the background for our perfect day will forever stick in my mind and i can even still hear Coldplay playing in my head. You cant put a price on a memory like that and im so grateful to Ollie for being there and doing a fantastic job. Everyone was intrigued when he quietly set up in the corner of the wedding breakfast and when he started playing it was so different and thoroughly relaxing, it was the perfect addition to our rustic wholesome meal.
