The obscure first dance song that we asked the Magic Tones to learn for us (You're Lovely To Me by Lucky Jim) was performed impeccably with a fantastic male lead vocal and from that point on the energy and enthusiasm of the band was relentless. The song choices of the band meant that the dance floor was jumping during all three of the very enjoyable sets. The vocals from the female lead were exceptional and the band were highly professional throughout the evening. They even allowed some of our more excitable guests to perform some guest vocals towards the end of the night. They're not just a 'run of the mill' wedding band, you could really tell they'd spent time and effort planning and rehearsing stuff that really works for a wedding of people our age. At one point I was slightly concerned when I heard Oops-up-side-your-head playing (my worst nightmare!)....but when I looked around and saw the dancefloor was packed and the guys were getting everyone into it....I realized they really know what they're doing! We have since heard back from many guests that they thought they were at Glastonbury the quality was so good – and that’s from several musicians who were in our party!! “They were absolutely brilliant on Saturday night! We didn't want a cheesy first dance, so they kicked off with Valerie and everyone was up dancing!
All the guests commented how great they were, and so professional! Such a tight set too!! We met the guys when they arrived at Chaffeymoor, so down to earth & relaxed, they were perfect for our celebrations and most of the wedding party danced the whole way through both sets! “Hi Phoebe, The Fix were superb at our wedding they’re a super talented bunch of guys and made our evening. I haven’t ever seen so many people on the dance floor for so long at a wedding! The set up was really comprehensive and professional and their sound was spot on.
