As soon as they played our special request 'Paul Weller - You do something to me' for the first dance I knew from that moment we had made the best decision booking the band. They were full of energy, played a great set list and engaged very well with the audience. They had people on the dance floor from start to finish and there were so many sing-alongs which created the ultimate party atmosphere which is exactly what we wanted at our wedding. We had so many positive comments about the band from family and friends, it was an absolutely incredible performance and I would go as far as saying they were the best live band I have seen at a function. We didn't want a cheesy first dance, so they kicked off with Valerie and everyone was up dancing! All the guests commented how great they were, and so professional! Such a tight set too!! We met the guys when they arrived at Chaffeymoor, so down to earth & relaxed, they were perfect for our celebrations and most of the wedding party danced the whole way through both sets! “We really wanted to express just how over-the-moon we were with Smith and Sons, they were absolutely fab! We were expecting them to be good having had a listen online, however they exceeded our expectations and were absolutely brilliant! We had originally booked a different band that we had seen play live already, however after some hesitation took the risk and cancelled the original band for Smith and Sons (a band we hadn't seen live! Eeek!) With my partner being a musician himself with lots of musician friends we did feel quite nervy about this...but we really had no need to be! There wasn't a moment during the evening when the dance floor wasn't occupied! Our guests (young and old) loved them :) We've had so many lovely comments from our guests who were extremely impressed. Not only did the guys sound great but they were also lovely chaps, very professional and talented. We would highly recommend them, I work in events and am looking for an excuse for when I can next hire them! A huge thank you once again.
