“We had a fabulous night last Saturday with Decade. It's tricky to make a village hall ouse atmosphere, but we decorated (a lot!) and the band got everyone on their feet dancing. Without a doubt, every person there had a fantastic evening and I have received nothing but positive comments all week, about the band, from our guests. Love it or hate it, the Proclaimers '10,000 miles' did get the place thumping.. just hope the hall floor survived! If we could, we would book Decade for a monthly bash! I spoke with Joel I think it was who was in charge, and he was more than happy to play the music for the ceremony itself and for putting up with the registrar who was a bit of a registra-zilla!!! People have commented on how good the guys were and it was great to be able to have a selection of country style and an electric set. The dance floor was buzzing all night, and despite having what seems a case of short term memory loss (possibly alcohol induced). A number of pictures show Amy and I dancing the night away.
