We chose them because their online promo material is of them actually playing there and then, as opposed to the music being added on later from a separate studio recording: with Electric Kicks, what you see is what you get! They were so smart when they performed, their repertoire is excellent (one of the bridesmaids commented, ‘Is there anything these guys can’t play?!’) and we were the ones who delayed them - they were all ready and raring to go! “From the groom, I just wanted to say how incredibly entertaining Sunny Side Up were. They made the wedding and exceeded all expectations. Firstly, their cover of Gypsy was mesmerising. It made the aisle walk that extra bit special. I thought the front man’s vocals were fantastic and a true rival to Stevie Nicks herself! I loved their cover of Send me on my way as we walked back up the aisle. I heard the crowd audibly sigh (in a good way) as they realised what the song choice really meant to us. The roaming set was lovely and maintained the energy during the photos and outside mingling. Their rendition of the first dance was spot on and I fell in love with that song all over again having heard it countless times during rehearsal! Having the guest join in at the end of the song I could see there wasn’t a single guest not dancing. The atmosphere was incredible and I was on an absolute high for the whole night after that. All members were so friendly and accommodating. I loved catching up with them in between sets and they were nice enough to allow us to do a couple of songs. I think the choice to have a few quirkier instruments really make the band stand out above the rest. They also fit the aesthetic of the barn wedding we had. I’ve had loads of comments saying how great they were. There might have even been a couple of Instagram follows after it! Great band, lovely guys. I can’t sing their praises enough.”

From meeting them in the morning, the first dance and all following sets they were a pleasure to deal with, highly organised and true professionals.
