“This is a VERY special band. Having worked in events for nearly 20 years, I struggle to find 'party bands' that are truly that - with a repertoire of only high-energy dance hits. I could see how unique they were by their repertoire list and showreel and they absolutely wowed all my guests who were flabbergasted at how well the male and female vocalists could sing Becky Hill, Years and Years, Sam Smith and so on. They sang so well it was hard to believe it wasn't lip-syncing at times. Absolutely every guest, with no exaggeration, commented how amazing the band were with probably 70% saying they were the best band they had ever seen at a wedding. I urge them to stay true to their garage and house roots because it absolutely does work. I normally dance at people's weddings out of politeness, not because it's the music I actually enjoy dancing to. Their sets could not have gone down better. I wanted to make a special mention to the sound engineer, Sam, who was fantastic and for someone who knows lighting, I could not believe how well he filled the room with colour. He worked absolute wonders with the kit he had. I will try to find some good pictures.”

“We loved the Skip Jacks Duo and are so happy we booked them! It was fantastic to have great quality live music at the wedding and we (and our guests) had a great time dancing. We also appreciated them learning our first dance song and it was lovely to be able to (awkwardly) dance to a live version of it. I didn't have the chance to speak to them much but the band were very professional and arrived on time and contacted the venue staff to sort set-up etc. The only thing I would change is booking the band for longer, or arranging for the sets to be later in the night. It was a warm day so I don't think the first set was that busy (people were outside cooling down) but the second set was amazing. I did have a look for videos but couldn't find any good ones. We are still waiting for the photos from the photographer so if there are any of the band we'll send them through.”

“I don't have enough good things to say about Just For Tonight. Let's start with: The number of our guests who said during dinner after the acoustic set "the band were incredible, are they going to do the evening too?". We received so many compliments about the band's skill and charisma that it made us feel great for having booked the perfect group for our day. The second thing to mention is how kind the band were to 'play through' the evening set, as the day had started to run behind over dinner. In the contract, the band had a 15-minute break between sets, but they played right through into the evening, which gave us and our guests the best experience at their own cost. I cannot stress how grateful we were for the band to sacrifice their contractual right to give us the best possible experience. The third thing is how friendly they were, both in the run up to the event, agreeing to meet my wife and I so we could make a connection, but also on the day when one of them asked me if I had specifically heard the song I listed in their request form as one of my favourites. Another element of this was how kind they were at the end of their set whilst DJ-ing to respond to requests from me and my guests, as well as learning the song we especially asked for during the first dance part of the evening. I would book JFT again in a heartbeat - I just don't know when as I don't plan to get married again any time soon!”

I was also super pleased with his communication before the day; I was a bit nervous about booking someone I'd never seen live but he was very chilled, open and responsive when I emailed him and also during our phone chat the week before – and tailored his set very accurately based on what we had discussed (and grateful he indulged what I gather was the grooms man's late request to play Sandstorm!).”
