It was also lovely that they let one of our younger wedding guests become an honorary member and play the tambourine! From start to finish the team were brilliant and even when we had to change things due to Covid, everyone was so flexible and helpful. We loved the whole planning experience and the guidance and care given by the team. On the day the band were incredible. We had such a fantastic time with all our guests up and dancing throughout the evening (even those who would not usually venture to the dance floor!) Folk Junkies' set list was a great mix for both younger and older generations and their vocals and performances were such high quality - our first dance in particular was played so beautifully and learnt by the band specially for our day. The lighting set up was also great for our venue and added such lovely colour and atmosphere to our dance floor. From start to finish, working with Folk Junkies was such a pleasure, they were so helpful in setting up our playlists for in between the live sets and this worked so well on the day. The band also arrived promptly and set up quickly and discreetly. We were overrunning quite a lot with our meal and speeches and Folk Junkies were very flexible in accommodating this. Overall, a wonderful band and perfect for a wedding or any party occasion, we would certainly recommend them and ask them to play again at future events! So many of our guests said how good the band was, the selection of songs certainly got everyone up and dancing, and it was great that the set list also covered various music eras so that there was a bit of something for all ages to enjoy.
