Four unique Liverpool wedding venues

We’re deep into wedding season here at Tailored Towers – which means we’re busy sending out awesome wedding entertainment to happy couples right across the country. But we wanted to take a moment to think about those putting together their wedding for next year and beyond! And in this blog, we thought we’d turn our attention to one of our favourite cities – Liverpool.

Liverpool is, by far and away, one of the most culturally and socially vibrant cities in the country right now – and your choices for unique wedding venues and the entertainment to go with it are almost overwhelming in number and quality. But we thought we’d give you a low-down of four of our favourite places to tie the knot in Sound City (as well as a couple of great bands to go with them!).

Some places that may not be on your radar, but definitely should! Lets get cracking, shall we?!

OH ME OH MY

Even from its website, Oh Me Oh My is at pains to tell you it’s a ‘secret space’. But we want to help get the secret out, cause this beautiful place is everything a wedding venue should be and more! Situated in an old bank in Liverpool’s financial district, Oh Me Oh My manages to be one of the most stylish and refined Liverpool wedding venues without being stuffy and overwhelming – with plenty of space to cater for large, diverse weddings.

And for your wedding entertainment, how about The Devines? A Liverpool wedding band with proper indie rock chops and a setlist to please everyone. They’re a perfect way to get your big night off to a bang.

ST GEORGE'S HALL

St George’s Hall is one of Liverpool’s biggest architectural landmarks – it’s handsome Georgian exterior greeting you as you walk down the steps from Lime Street Station and into the city for the first time. Many people fail to realise that St George’s Hall is even more stunning behind the gothic brickwork of its exterior. This grand, palatial building offers lots of different packages for weddings of any size, style or budget. It all adds up to make a surprisingly practical wedding venue with serious ‘wow’ factor.

For the wedding reception, you could try an awesome Soul & Motown party band like Soul All-Nighters. Their big sound and glamorous live show will make a perfect addition to the venue!

CAMP & FURNACE

Liverpool’s ‘Baltic Triangle’ is arguably the city’s most vibrant and stylish area right now - with new start-ups, restaurants and bars popping up seemingly overnight. Camp & Furnace was the place that set this resurgence in motion, opening up in the previously derelict area just over a decade ago. This remarkable building has become synonymous with the South Docks’ cultural revolution and set the marker for every other bar and restaurant that opened up ion the area later down the line. It offers total flexibility in size and space in an awesomely hip, industrial setting. Plus the food is sensational! This is arguably one of the best Liverpool wedding venues you're likely to find.

For wedding entertainment, you’ll want a band to match the cool, industrial interior. How about On The One? A high energy Liverpool party band that’s flashy, fresh and tonnes of fun. Your guests will love them!

SEFTON PARK PALM HOUSE

A country setting in the middle of the city, in a stunning Victorian Glass House and surrounded by tropical plants. What’s not to love?! This Grade 2 listed building is a beautifully unique wedding venue, set in the stunning surrounds of Sefton Park a little outside of the city centre. It’s beautiful, totally unique, and a genuine landmark for the city of Liverpool. What a place to have your wedding!
